I am pleased to share that I have been appointed to the Sustainability Reporting Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal. Additionally, I have been tasked with leading the Taskforce for Survey and Research on Sustainability and ESG Practices.

As part of this role, we are undertaking the following key initiatives:

1) Identifying Emerging Areas in Sustainability: We are exploring new opportunities for professional accountants in sustainability and identifying relevant topics for Continuous Professional Education (CPE) training.
2) Conducting a Comprehensive ESG Survey: We are developing a survey questionnaire and methodology to gather insights into ESG practices in Nepal. The goal is to achieve maximum participation and produce a comprehensive study report.

I would be grateful if you could share any relevant experiences, insights, or suggestions related to these areas. Your expertise would be invaluable in helping us shape the future of sustainability and ESG reporting in Nepal.
